The Work Number provides verifiers with employee data such as hire date, years of service, employment status, and income information.

  Visit TheWorkNumber.com to sign up and view your data. After logging in, you can obtain an Employment Data Report. The report shows the information provided to verifiers and lists instances when a verifier attempted to access some or all of your data.

  How do I provide proof of employment to a verifier?

  Provide the verifier with Publicis employer code “26531” and direct them to The Work Number at TheWorkNumber.com or 1-800-367-5690 to obtain the employment or income verification.

  Can someone access my employment information without my authorization?

  No. You must authorize access to your employment and income information. Authorization may be provided by signing a borrower’s authorization form or creating a salary key through The Work Number that generates a code to give to the verifier.

  Is The Work Number secure?

  Yes. TLS 1.2 encryption is used when personal information is exchanged on the site. The Work Number also applies data security standards and physical security controls to protect data and assets in its data centers.
