Get access to quality care with the Care@Work program.

The Care@Work program, powered by Care.com, gives you access to a network of qualified providers for your family. Whether you need last-minute care for a child, help for an aging parent, a tutor, or even a pet sitter, this program is designed to support you. You can also get discounts on products and services through LifeMart, even if you don't use the backup care.

How it works

Use the Care@Work website or app to find caregivers and access backup care. You'll also receive personalized support from care specialists who can help you find the right person for your needs.

The program offers assistance with:

  • Backup care for children: Find help during school holidays, sick days, or when a sitter cancels unexpectedly.

  • Backup care for adult seniors: Get assistance with rides to appointments, meal preparation, or care for a loved one recovering from surgery.

Eligibility: The Care@Work program is available to all Mountaineers.

Cost: You are eligible for up to 10 days of company-subsidized backup care per year.

The cost to you is:

  • $4 per hour for in-home child or adult care

  • $24 per day per child in a child care center

*Please note for the 2025 calendar year only, employees are eligible for 12 days of backup care.
